Most match-day bookings follow a simple shape: hotel to stadium before kick-off, then stadium to a restaurant or hotel afterwards. The complexity sits almost entirely in the timing and location of the drop-off and pickup, rather than the route itself, which is usually short.

Congestion, road closures and controlled pickup points

On match days, police and stadium stewards commonly close roads directly around the ground and restrict vehicle access within a defined perimeter, particularly in the hour before and after kick-off. This means a chauffeur cannot always promise collection directly outside the gate. Instead, a realistic nearby pickup point is agreed in advance, with a fallback location if the primary one is closed on the day.

Why 'outside the gate' cannot always be promised

It is worth being direct about this: no chauffeur company can guarantee a pickup at a specific stadium entrance on a match day, because access is controlled by police and stewards responding to crowd conditions on the day, not by pre-booking.
