Secure travel and close protection chauffeur services
Chauffeuring and close protection are different, separately regulated roles, and we keep that distinction explicit. Our chauffeurs are licensed for private hire and DBS-checked; where genuine protection is required, we arrange appropriately SIA-licensed close protection officers to work alongside the chauffeur, and every requirement is scoped in a confidential conversation before any vehicle or officer is arranged.

Discuss a secure travel requirement
Every secure travel enquiry starts with a confidential conversation to understand what's actually needed before we propose anything.

Chauffeur and close protection are not the same thing
This is worth stating plainly: a chauffeur is licensed to drive for private hire and has been DBS-checked, but that is not the same qualification as SIA close protection licensing, and we never present it as such. A close protection officer's role — risk assessment, route planning, personal protection — is a distinct, separately regulated discipline. Where a client asks for 'security' but means a discreet, capable chauffeur, we'll say so plainly rather than upselling a service that isn't needed.
How we arrange SIA-licensed protection
Where a genuine protection requirement exists, we arrange appropriately SIA-licensed close protection officers to work alongside the chauffeur and vehicle, rather than asking a chauffeur to take on a role they aren't licensed for. The officer and chauffeur are briefed together so route planning, timing and the protection plan are aligned, with the chauffeur focused on driving and the officer focused on protection.
No guarantees — a scoped, confidential assessment first
We do not make guarantees about outcomes, threat levels or security in general terms; nobody responsibly can. What we do is have a confidential conversation first to understand the actual requirement — who is travelling, what is known about the concern, the itinerary and duration — and only then propose a plan involving the appropriate number and type of licensed personnel. If a requirement is outside what we can properly resource, we'll say so rather than take the booking regardless.
What we discuss before proposing anything
A first, confidential conversation typically covers:
- Who is travelling and the general nature of the concern, in outline
- Locations, duration and whether travel is within London or further afield
- Whether a single officer, a small team, or chauffeur-only discreet transport is appropriate
- Vehicle requirements and any specific timing sensitivities
- Confidentiality expectations, including an NDA if required
How we handle secure travel
Regulated roles, kept distinct
Chauffeur and protection are separate
A chauffeur drives; where protection is needed, an SIA-licensed officer is arranged alongside — never conflated.
SIA-licensed officers only
Close protection is delivered exclusively by appropriately SIA-licensed professionals.
Confidential scoping first
Every requirement is discussed privately before any vehicle or officer is proposed.
No outcome guarantees
We do not promise security outcomes; we resource an appropriate, honestly scoped plan.
Briefed together
Chauffeur and protection officer are aligned on route, timing and the protection plan.
Vetted chauffeurs throughout
The driving element is always handled by a licensed, DBS-checked chauffeur.
