Ways to travel
Choose the shape of the trip
Each of these is quoted individually against your actual dates and itinerary. Tickets, admissions, guides, parking and waiting time are only included where your written quotation says so.
Arrival + return
Airport or St Pancras arrival with a meet-and-greet, plus the return journey booked at the same time.
London weekend
A chauffeur on hand across a short stay — hotel, dinner, theatre and shopping movements sequenced around your plans.
London + countryside
London days combined with unhurried day trips such as Windsor, Oxford, the Cotswolds, Bath or Cambridge.
Business itinerary
Meeting-by-meeting chauffeur cover for a working trip, with waiting time and schedule changes handled by one coordinator.
Arriving for a short stay
Most direct flights from Lisbon and Porto arrive into Heathrow or Gatwick, with journey time into central London typically well under an hour in reasonable traffic. Because a long weekend leaves little room for delay, we track your flight and adjust pick-up timing automatically, so an early landing or a late one doesn't cost you part of the trip.
If you're travelling as a couple or a small group of friends, an Executive or First Class saloon usually suits a weekend bag comfortably; larger parties or those bringing extra luggage for shopping can be met with a Group vehicle instead.
An evening built around the theatre
London's West End is one of the more popular reasons for a short visit, and the practical challenge is rarely the show itself but getting to dinner beforehand and away again afterwards without losing half the evening to traffic and taxi queues. A chauffeur booked for the evening collects you from your hotel, waits through dinner, and is outside the theatre when the curtain comes down, ready to take you straight back.
We're happy to build the whole evening as one booking — restaurant, theatre, and return — rather than three separate journeys, which tends to work far better on a tight two-night trip.
Two ways to use a long weekend
Two itineraries that suit a Friday-to-Sunday visit well:
- Friday evening: airport arrival, hotel check-in, then a private evening drive through Mayfair and Covent Garden before a late dinner.
- Saturday: a full day exploring on foot or by chauffeur between Knightsbridge, Chelsea and the South Bank, followed by an evening theatre and dinner run as one continuous booking.
Luggage for shopping and city breaks
Weekend visitors often return with more than they arrived with, particularly after a day around Knightsbridge or Bicester Village. Mentioning this when you book means we can plan for extra boot space on the return transfer rather than trying to fit it all in at the last minute at the airport kerb.
What we need for an accurate quote
To quote your weekend precisely, tell us:
- Flight details for arrival and departure
- Hotel or accommodation address
- Any fixed timings, such as a theatre curtain-up or restaurant booking
- Number of travellers and expected luggage, including shopping on the return leg
- Whether you'd like a day trip added, such as Windsor or the Cotswolds
Choosing a base for a two-night stay
Where you stay shapes how much of the weekend goes on the road rather than in it. A hotel around Mayfair or Covent Garden puts theatre, dinner and Bond Street shopping within a short drive of one another, which suits a schedule built around an evening show. Knightsbridge or Chelsea works better if the trip is more about a quieter pace, museum visits and long lunches than a packed evening plan.
Either way, telling us the hotel when you book means the chauffeur's route between the airport, the theatre district and any shopping stops can be planned properly rather than worked out on the fly.
