This guide is for multigenerational families travelling from Ahmedabad, Surat and elsewhere in Gujarat who are planning a London trip that works for grandparents, parents and children travelling as one group.

A multigenerational trip is different from a two-adult booking in almost every respect — more people, a wider range of mobility and stamina, and often stronger preferences around dining and pacing. None of this is difficult to plan for, but it depends on the details being confirmed clearly when you request your quotation rather than assumed.

Vehicle sizing for a larger group

Tell us the total number of travellers and their approximate ages, since a group spanning three generations often needs more than one vehicle, particularly if grandparents prefer not to be seated far from the rest of the family. A V-Class comfortably seats a mid-sized family group with luggage; larger gatherings should plan for two vehicles travelling together.

Mobility and walking pace

If any member of the group has limited mobility or prefers a slower walking pace, tell us this alongside your itinerary so stops can be chosen with realistic distances between parking or drop-off points and the attraction itself. Your chauffeur can adjust waiting points and timing, but cannot arrange step-free access or physical assistance beyond the vehicle itself, so any specific access needs at a venue should also be checked directly with that venue.

Pacing a day for three generations

A day plan built around the fastest-moving member of the group rarely works for everyone. It is usually better to plan fewer stops with longer breaks, and to treat energetic outings such as a full-day Cotswolds or Windsor trip as a day on its own rather than combined with London sightseeing either side.

Vegetarian and Jain dining requests
